Who we are - Inspired by my 4 year old daughter, Amber's Garden, Ready-to-Plant Gardens was created to enhance the outdoor living experience with ready to plant vegetable and other gardens. Our gardens are also a great lifestyle fit for busy people and those who have limited space, the gardens can also be cut to fit into containers.

Amber's Garden strives to increase awareness for children about the impact they have on the earth and help them understand where their food comes from. Educating kids about the importance of recycling, conservation and the reduction of waste creates an environment ripe for you to teach them by activities such as gardening, cooking and learning how to eat healthy. Children will learn responsibility and patience while having fun.

What we do - Amber's Garden has created a line of seven ready-to-plant gardens that take the guesswork out of seed spacing, seed depth and when to plant. We still want kids to dig in the dirt, and in preparing the soil and covering the seed mats they will do that. Our experience has shown when kids plant seeds, they are planted too deep/shallow and too close/far apart; which results in failure to germinate and they feel sense of disappointment.

The Amber's Garden takes the guesswork out of seed spacing, seed depth and when to plant. Our seed mats contain a good variety of vegetable seeds, properly spaced with similar depth requirements to ensure your children have a successful gardening experience.

Asian Garden Large

This will be one of our most popular gardens for spring contains edamame, snow pea, asian radish, pak choi and oriental cucumber. The lines between each vegetable type enable you to cut it and put each section in a different place.

Our small Asian Garden fits perfectly into a container - edamame, snow pea and oriental cucumber. The lines between each vegetable type enable you to cut it and plant each section in a different place.

Herb Garden

We have selected some of the most used savory herbs for your garden. Easy to plant and grow, you should have many wonderful meals seasoned with your fresh herbs. Contains Basil, Oregano, Cilantro and Thyme. Plant year around in mild climates.

Seed mat is 8in x 24 in, you can cut the mat into sections and plant each herb seperately if you'd like.

Pumpkin Patch

Plant by mid summer for fall harvest, this compact size fits in a large pot on your patio or balcony; seed mat is 18 inches in diameter. Please see the activities section of our website for how to harvest, cure and roast your pumpkin seeds.

Rainbow Crop Garden

Special request from my daughter, Amber. The Rainbow Root veggie garden was her idea. Two types of beets, two types of carrot and turnip.

Salad Garden

Amber's Garden has taken extra measures to ensure you have fun with growing your own vegetables by selecting the hardiest seeds with high germination rates and faster maturity. Seed mat contains radishes, snow peas, carrots, tomatoes, and spring mix lettuce. Our garden can be cut into sections and planted in containers, there is nothing like growing and harvesting something we can eat fresh.

Larger version of one of our hottest sellers is more of a good thing! Contains tomato, green onion, cilantro, chili and radish. The lines between each vegetable type enable you to cut it and put each section in a different place.

Salsa Garden Small

This is a favorite; rich tomatoes, spicy chili peppers and fragrant Cilantro! Seed mat is 18 inches in diameter and fits perfectly in a pot on your patio. Plant mid spring to late summer.

Summer Crop Garden

Our Summer Crop garden has corn, beans, tomatoes, carrots, radishes, basil and rosemary. Amber's Garden has taken extra measures to ensure you have fun with growing your own vegetables by selecting the hardiest seeds with high germination rates and faster maturity. Check your area's hardiness zone for the best time to plant, this is a warm season garden.
